This was probably the best college paper I have written to date mostly because I don't like the idea behind full electrics and eco hybrids. In short they hurt their own cause and really aren't very cheap or efficient. Why did I really write it ? ... Because diesel !

I got a perfect score on a high school writing test (a big one required for graduation. I was the only perfect score, too, out of who knows how many thousands of people) for writing about electric cars and diesels. I didn't even follow the prompt correctly. It was supposed to be an essay about the greatest invention of the last decade, and I decided that the re-emergence of electric cars was close enough to an invention, and then I proceeded to outline all the reasons that diesel is better, for now anyway. I did conclude with the idea that a diesel/electric hybrid would be the best overall if done right.

Thats basically exactly how mine went mine is supposed to be about "alternative fuels" and I talked about how electric eco boxes suck because well a electric ford focus with cloth interior cos $35,000 and goes 76 miles on a charge and then I explain how diesels are not the shit cans they once were.

Obviously I haven't read your paper, and generally, diesels are great. But you kind of countered your own argument right there: "diesels are not the shit cans they once were". Modern electric cars are still in their infancy. It only took a short time of EVs being viable for the Model S to come; a car that has near universal praise. And with the Supercharger network expanding every day, it's constantly becoming more viable for more people.
Going forward, we need to cut our fossil fuel consumption. Bio-diesel (and ethanol) is fucking stupid. I haven't heard the latest on algae or similar fuels, but I assume those will never be practical. Batteries will become more efficient and the infrastructure will spread. We will see if hydrogen or another alt fuel gains traction.

It's called INST which is basically a class where we argue about the evolution of the microchip and the technology and advancements it's made today and. If those advancements are good or bad. Comp sci major problems ...

Yeah, and it's becoming kind of a problem for areas where diesels are quite prolific.

Turbines, S4 and S6 reps, the list goes on. I always wanted s4 reps/reals for my passat, to replace my wellingtons.
